Calculating Yardage and Dye Lots

We are more than happy to help you calculate your yardage requirements for your project to the best of our ability, but please remember that there are many factors that effect how much yarn you will need. Every knitter is different and we cannot always know exactly how much yarn you will need to complete a project.

It is always a good idea to buy and extra skein if you think you may run out of yarn before finishing your project.

If you need it, great! You have the same yarn in the same color and dye lot without the hassle of trying to find more.

If not, we have 4 options:

  1. We are happy to return it for store credit within our return policy stated above.
  2. We can help you find a great NEW project to incorporate your excess yarn.
  3. You can bring the extra full skeins to one of our annual Yarn Swaps- trade it out for something you like better!
  4. You can donate it! There are many organizations that need yarn for volunteers to knit for those in need.

Please remember: We will do our best but we are only human, we are not responsible for any miscalculations or errors.
